It’s very difficult to eat any fruit in quantities to cause a negative effect from fruit sugar. Where fruit is juiced into unnatural quantities the fructose is extracted in a concentrated form and this will cause damage, eating fruit isn’t harmful.

I know there are tons of recipes for keto pizza crust trying to make it as "authentic" as possible, but honestly, this crust is so delicious and easy to make. I don't even miss the traditional crust (I have always been a fan of the crunchier thin crust). If I don't have cream cheese on hand, I use full-fat Greek yogurt, and it turns out just as good. Also, it can be hard to find shredded mozzarella that doesn't have potato starch in it. I find that even using the mozzarella slices with no additives works just as well once heated in the microwave. I melt it a bit first, then add the cream cheese/yogurt after and melt and mix until I get it nice and gooey. Once it's cool enough, get your hands in there and start working it!

I'm afraid I have to disagree with her statement "the brain chemistry was there from the beginning"; I think a similar sentiment is echoed in Western medicine when we just say people have random chemical imbalances. That's a well-meaning take, but it completely overlooks the role negative life experiences (i.e. trauma, stress, etc.) play in causing addiction in the first place. I'd say the vast majority of people aren't born addicts. Addiction is a coping mechanism, and one that works incredibly well in the short term.

We all know what a healthy diet is, please stop torturing millions of sentient creatures, there is absolutely no excuse for this horrific gratuitous violence.

Guys, common. Low carb is great. I lost 50 lbs on it. However, I wasn't able to KEEP it down due to the nature of glucose metabolism and how the human brain works - cravings. After watching about a 1000 YT videos I have identified some super smart, real nutritional and research scientists who recommended the Carnivore diet. After switching to it, my physical, emotional, and mental health improved drastically. My workout routines are phantastic again with little effort and now I look like a Spartan from the movie 300. Cheers.

It’s funny, because I was looking at the way they used to eat in Bible times. And I notice the Bible, talks a lot about healthy bread, olive oil, meat, milk, cheese, some figs and grapes, but you hear about herbs and spices, but not necessarily any green veggies like we have today. I really don’t think it’s necessary to have them however, for some people they are ok. But if you look at the foods from the Bible, the diet was rich in bread and meat and fish and herbs, and spices also honey.

I salute the courage of a man who was able to admit and publish the truth, when his reputation had been built on promoting an opposite view. We need more people who are willing to stand up and speak the truth to those who endeavour to suppress and distort it. We all want to believe that the aim of science is to reveal the truth. We all want to believe that the role of the government is to protect the public. We all want to believe that the role of food manufacturers is to produce food. And we all want to believe that the role of medicine is to support health and prevent disease. Increasingly, it seems, we are forced to accept that the only course is to educate ourselves and take responsibility for our own health. Thank you, Professor Noakes, for all you have done to promote the truth.
